This document has been written in English and Italian (by a native Italian speaker), these two languages are the only ones for which slamin.it can be held responsible.
Any translation of these Terms of service is to be considered a community effort to make information accessible in other languages, and therefore must be taken in these terms, with no other value than informational.
By using the services offered by slamin.it you agree to be bound by these Terms of service. It is therefore advisable to read these terms before first use of the platform.
Slamin is a community and our platform adheres to and is part of the free and open-source software ecosystem. We share the material resources of the servers, we collaborate and use the services of slamin.it together. It is important that everyone understands and feels equally responsible for it. Therefore we kindly ask that these guidelines be kept in mind and followed, so as to live together happily.
Anyone can use this service. Being an artistic community, there is no age limit for access. This also implies the responsibility of the community to protect minors or sensitive people, so that they can enjoy the platform in a free and safe environment.
Resources are limited (and the world is one: producing waste, consuming energy and carelessness, afflict everyone), and in this capitalist system, they are also expensive (for those who do not want to own or "stand above" other people). Remember that uploading useless files and "spamming" can limit bandwidth and space on the server, which can limit the possibilities of others.
Please don't waste!
For security reasons, slamin.it does not delete unused accounts. This practice may evolve over time, should we need to recover disk space for other users. These changes to the terms of service will be announced in advance through every possible channel.
We appreciate the care of those who take responsibility for their account and the impact it can have on Slam in's resources, and who prefer to delete their account when deciding to no longer use our services, also deleting unused files.
We do not keep track of anyone requesting account activation on Slam in. If you enter a valid email when creating the account, you can always reset your login password.
If you no longer have access to your email account, we will not be able to help you access Slam in. Also remember to periodically change your password: you can do this on your profile page.
! WARNING ! Loss of password can lead to loss of rights to your files.
To prevent our services from being blacklisted, we do not allow the use of Slam in to send SPAM. Any account used for this purpose will be disabled without possibility of recovery.
If you notice any system anomalies or receive unusual or inappropriate messages, please report it to us so we can investigate. Thank you!
One of the main objectives of Slam in is to promote free and open software, and above all, copyleft on content. Welcome and support artists and projects that release their work under this license.
Uploading and publicly sharing copyrighted material on slamin.it can put both those who manage and those who use the platform in serious legal danger, as well as lead to the closure of the entire service. Please don't do it.
Please do not engage in the following activities on slamin.it:
Slam in is a community that provides services and promotes art. The intent is to assist and allow exchange and knowledge. Any commercial activity must be carried out within the limits offered by the platform and permitted by law, and is to be considered as a donation, not as a binding contract.
Trading or use of services for speculation of any kind is strictly prohibited, under penalty of account deletion and possible legal action.
Use of the donation mechanism for money laundering. A team of accountants follows every transaction on slamin.it and searches for patterns or recursive actions. Slam In It OU is not responsible and disclaims all legal and economic responsibility for this type of use, or for the loss of money of any user, due to attacks or computer scams.
If you are not certain that the commercial use of the platform is within the limits of legality, or if you witness or become aware of economic abuse, we strongly recommend reporting it immediately to those who administer the platform.
Commercial use of Slam in, in suspicious cases, will be analyzed and the decision to close the accounts involved will be communicated clarifying as much as possible any abuse.
For any doubts about the terminology used in these points, you can contact those who manage the platform.
Slamin.it is not responsible for published content or any other service. Those who use the platform are responsible for their data and their actions, and for any consequences arising from them. In any case, to preserve the existence of the platform, we reserve the right to delete any content that violates these terms and laws.
For any other activity, we remind you that slamin.it is not responsible for what its users write or publish, nor for the safeguarding of their privacy. We therefore invite you to use every possible tool to defend your rights.

Slam In It OU is a company based in Estonia, so it responds to the laws of this country. Slamin.it is hosted on German servers, so it responds to the laws of this country.

The conditions reported here are and will always be evolving and therefore subject to change.
It is understood and accepted that slamin.it offers an online service; for this reason, the services are offered as possible, i.e. subject to availability and without obligations to anyone. Although we hope not to disappoint anyone, we cannot guarantee reliability, accessibility or quality of service.
It is considered accepted that use of the services is at your own risk and responsibility.
Slam in is a community, which means a group of people who share things in common. And the most common thing we share, in addition to art and being users of the platform, is difference, both in being and in thinking, feeling and communicating.
These Terms of Service generally manage all services, but in those built for interaction between people it is necessary to guarantee the exercise of our differences in conditions of respect and security, so that anyone can express themselves without fear of judgment or mistreatment of any kind.
To try to achieve this we have established (and borrowed - mainly from disroot.org and other anarchist and autonomous realities) a series of basic conditions for cooperation. These conditions do not claim to be perfect and monolithic, so we hope they can change for the better. When necessary, the community will be informed of these changes.
If you consider that any of these conditions contradicts or does not fit your principles or limits you in any form or condition, you can decide not to use our services, look for others where you can feel more freedom and communicate to us respectfully any constructive criticism you believe relevant. We reserve the right to accept, apply and promote, or not, any of these communications.
Insults, comments and discrimination towards another person or group, regarding gender or social, racial, physical, mental or ideological conditions, are considered violent behaviors and are not tolerated. This also includes threats and harassment.
The transformative justice that we follow and promote, accepts, welcomes and promotes debate and mutual care, listening and welcoming, so that anyone, abused or abusive person, can feel welcomed, protected and safe as a victim and free to understand and improve as a conscious or unconscious abuser.
Behaviors considered malicious lead to a partial or total suspension of respect which is the right of every living being.
The creation and dissemination of material whose production generated violence, sexual assault or exploitation of adults or minors is not admitted in this community.
Fascism, Nazism and any other political or religious idea that promotes or incites violence against groups or individuals is not tolerated in this community.
If any member of the community does not respect or intentionally violates one of these guidelines, action will be taken accordingly by blocking or deleting the account immediately and without notice.
The open and all-encompassing nature of the platform offers many possibilities for interaction with different people, thus increasing the chances of encountering bots or people with whom it will be difficult to interact. For this reason, anyone who is part of the community has a moderation and reporting tool available that allows protection and care.
It is possible to report any abuse or infringement of Terms and conditions of service via the form, or by contacting platform administrators.
Each user has the possibility to mute notifications in the chat, or directly block another user. Just as anyone has the freedom to speak, anyone has the freedom to listen or not. If a person does not want to interact, they have the full right and no other person can prevent it.
Reporting a user is a resource to be used only and only if there is full awareness and certainty that these Terms of Service and community guidelines are being violated, or if the available tools are not sufficient to manage the case.
Those who administer the platform have the right to intervene for any need, and apply appropriate measures.
Respect and care of the community are a collective responsibility of anyone who is part of it.
These Terms of Service may be modified over time. Any substantial changes will be communicated through the official channels of the platform. It is advisable to periodically consult this page to stay updated.
